Putting it into context, a main bar area of a standard venue generally draws on upbeat foreground music utilised primarily as entertainment for this area attracting a particular crowd. The dining area on the other hand, has a need for background, easy listening, mood music to allow for its diners to enjoy their meal.

Another example is a sports bar may play music to suit an older demographic on one side and on the other plays to an upmarket lounge crowd. For nightclubs, the DJ Pro Multi-zone is your best bet. Fury: MMORPG without the boring bits?

Brisbane-based game developer Auran is about to launch Fury, a new MMORPG* PC game that has its sights on taking on widely popular established titles such as World of Warcraft, Guild Wars and Unreal Tournament.

It's a classic case of the Aussie battlers having a go at the global giants, with Fury's developers hoping the innovations they've designed will bring success by elevating the genre to a new level for online gamers. They claim that they've cut out the boring bits -- i.e. tedious level grinding -- that hamper other titles, and that Fury neatly combines fast paced action with skills-based PvP combat.

CNET.com.au spoke with Auran CEO Tony Hilliam outside Tank Nightclub prior to the Sydney launch of Fury to retail partners and the media. Watch our video to hear him explain its fantasy environment, its unique character advancement and combat systems, plus other features that he believes will set Fury apart from other games in the MMORPG crowd.

Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center reopens 3 anchor restaurants

Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center has reopened three of its anchor restaurants, as well as many longtime merchant stores, with renovations to improve each visitor's dining experience.

Restaurant Suntory, the only original tenant of the center, has been serving Japanese cuisine for 27 years. The restaurant is now over 6,000 square feet, boasts views of The Royal Grove, and features natural wood elements throughout the dining room and bar. The ambiance has been updated to offer a variety of seafood, shabushabu and teppan-yaki in a contemporary Japanese setting.

Beijing Chinese Seafood Restaurant has undergone extensive renovations and offers a dining space with traditional Chinese surroundings and live seafood-viewing tanks. Patrons will enjoy dim-sum lunches and prix fixe dinners in this Chinese-style setting complete with a gold-plated Emperor Chair display room.

Okonimiyaki Chibo Restaurant is located on the center's third level, Building A, and has completed a $900,000 renovation. This Japanese restaurant has made it's home here for the past 17 years and features "Okonomiyaki" dishes which originate from Osaka, Japan.

Each dish is customizable with seafood, meats, and vegetables prepared in an egg batter that loosely resembles a giant pancake. Aside from the newly finished dining area, large groups may choose to dine in private tatami (traditional Japanese-styled) rooms.

Senor Frogs Restaurant & Bar, known for its energetic party atmosphere and anything goes attitude, has hopped into the Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center. The largest casa in the shopping center, the restaurant and bar is almost 16,000 square feet and is located on the third level overlooking the "Waikiki strip," otherwise known as Kalakaua Avenue.
